Inflatable Globes, Grizzles vs Bears and Something’s Cookin’; The RPO Show for Dec. 4
Paul Meadors and Austin Kemp return with just under 28 minutes of entertaining high school football talk a few days after Central beat Buchanan for the D-I title.
FRESNO — Paul Meadors and Austin Kemp discuss Central’s 28-21 Central Section championship win over Buchanan, a game the Grizzlies scored early and often. After racing a a 21-0 lead in just over seven minutes, the Bears showed grit behind a stout defense and the legs of Georgia-bound Kendall Milton’s TD runs of 30, 78 and 35. But it wasn’t enough as the state’s No. 6 team held off the 24th ranked Bears for the program’s third straight title.
Filled with random bits of entertaining commentary (an inflatable globe as a set piece?) the RPO Show also talks about the future of Central and Buchanan, why the Grizzlies, despite a 13-0 record, play on the road in the NorCal 1-A game, and tease their idea for, well, something along the lines of All-League but much, much better.
