  • No movement in the top three. Memorial doesn’t get dragged for losing a competitive game to Buchanan 5-3, where it was tied going into the 5th inning. The same can be applied to Clovis North versus Memorial. The Broncos led late into the game before ultimately falling 6-4. All games were competitive and nothing, right now, suggests that any of those teams fall.
  • Bullard made some noise in the Easter Classic, scoring a bunch of runs and dominating each team they played. One of their wins included a 9-3 drubbing of Central. Though that’s an impressive win, it’s not quite enough to launch them into the top three. Their other wins come against teams with a combined 3-9 record. The Knights will have their opportunity to make a huge move into the rankings with a Thursday showdown against #1 Buchanan. The section will be looking at a new #1 team if Bullard has an undefeated week.
  • Bakersfield schools do not start up until late April. Expect both Stockdale and Liberty to hang around their current slots over the next month.
